The Camp Out Tee. The design came off real simple and that’s what we tried to maintain from the start of creation. However, there’s a lot that goes behind the thought process of why we made this design. A lot of frustration has been had with the shift to online reservations via a certain social network, even stores have made attempts with raffles and other methods. The “Good Ol’ Days” as some may refer to it as. Some of us have met some good friends while waiting in line for a pair of sneakers, a real living, breathing social network. People tend to banter and argue virtually now with others that they may click with in person, yes over some shoes. You see, as a sneakerhead, enthusiast, hypebeast, proclaimed OG’s, it’s all different for everybody. But as a whole we owe it or owed it to society to behave in these camp out situations. We did have a good thing, but its unfortunate with all the looting, hold ups, even killings…that we let corporations, or people within those corporations change things in our social network that we created. The love for the shoes remains the same and intent to purchase is at an all time high. But let’s cut the crap people, if we took as much care about how we act as a group in public as we did our sneakers (Keep ‘Em Clean…shameless motto plug) this wouldn’t be a topic of discussion. We need to be cohesive and responsible when it comes to our interactions now online with others. What happens next if we continue to abuse the process or ruin it for others? Who knows, camping out may be a thing of the past, but it will definitely not be forgotten! I want to commemorate this post to a homie, Edwin Escobar, whom you can find on Instagram @neverwearthem & @nwt3000 he lost a dear friend that he met while waiting in line for a pair of shoes for 16hrs! Just goes to show that good things can come from this hobby if you respect the game. Sorry for your loss bro, we appreciate all that you visually share with us, as always remember to “Keep ‘Em Clean” (meaningful plug). Peace y’all
